Mathieu Picard

Mathieu Picard Moncton accident lawyerMathieu earned a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration (Finance) from the Université de Moncton in 2004.  He obtained his Bachelor Degree of Law from the same university in 2010.

During his time at the university, he enjoyed public speaking, debates and moot courts and mock trials.

Mathieu and three teammates successfully represented the Université de Moncton at the Business Games in 2004. His team finished in 2nd position at the time, an unprecedented performance for the Université de Moncton at the Business Games.

In 2009, Mathieu and his teammate won the Pierre-Armand Landry appellate advocacy competition. This trophy is awarded annually to top performers in advocacy. In 2010, Mathieu and three teammates represented the Université de Moncton at the Laskin Moot, a national appellate advocacy competition in administrative and constitutional law.

Prior to practicing law, Mathieu served as Communications Officer and Press Secretary to former Premier Bernard Lord and former Official Opposition Leader, Jeannot Volpé.

He is avid outdoor person and enjoys hunting and exercising.

Mathieu was called to the New Brunswick Bar on June 16th, 2011.
